Immaculate and recently extended and renovated, Arlington is perfectly suited for professionals working locally or as a base to explore the beautiful Surrey countryside.
The Space
Guest bedroom with double bed, private ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, underfloor heating, WiFi broadband and TV, free off-street parking. Within walking distance to the quaint village of St. John's which has an English pub, Italian restaurant, coffee shop, convenience store, pharmacy, bakery, Basingstoke canal tow path, and local bus routes.
Our house is a recently extended and renovated 4 bedroom end of terrace house, including a guest room which is where you would stay. There is space for two parkings on our own driveway. My husband Bryan and I have two daughters at school. We also have two adorable Maltese poodles.
We occasionally host foreign students who are out during the day from around 7:30 in the morning until 7:30 in the evening.
The bedroom is on the ground floor, immediately on the left. This will be private to you. The bedroom has been recently added onto the house and has a wardrobe, kitchenette with fridge, combination microwave, 2 plate hob and underfloor heating controlled by yourself. The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower. The bathroom also has a towel warmer.
My husband and I predominantly work from home and we are usually available to assist during the day.

The Location
St. John's is a village in Surrey 3 km west of Woking. The village has a mixture of shops and businesses including a convenience store, bakery, butcher, barber, hairdresser, dentist, pharmacy, doctor's surgery, gift shop, coffee shop, English pub, Italian restaurant, Indian restaurant, Asian restaurant, pizza take-out and a laundrette.
The Basingstoke canal passes through the village and there is a large lye with playground. There are scenic walks to the nearest town Woking along the canal while walking the opposite direction along the navigation takes you to the historic village of Brookwood and further still to the Pirbright ranges popular for mountain biking.
Approximately a short 20 minute drive takes you into the heart of the English countryside and picture postcard villages such as Shere and Peaslake of The Surrey Hills popular with walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers.
The nearest town is Woking, famous for being the home to HG Wells and the alien landing site from his hit novel War of the Worlds, and to Paul Weller, the English singer-songwriter who achieved fame as the principal singer and songwriter of The Jam.
